DOFF is a steam based stone cleaning system. It’s unlike any other steam system and can achieve temperatures 150°C at the nozzle end. The operator is able to vary the temperature and pressure to remove either many types of paint or biological matter.
The steam/superheated water will remove moss, algae, fungi and other biological matter and will also kill off spores. This means there’s then no need to use a chemical biocide during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.
DOFF cleans stonework and masonry using high temperature steam. When the temperature in the system is high the pressure on the surface being cleaned is very gentle and the volume of the water is low. The surface is therefore not saturated and will be dry within minutes.
The TORC System is a complete stone cleaning system which is used for the follow applications:
- Remove carbon sulphation
- Remove lime & cement based paints
- Remove paint residues
- Remove some old oil based paints
- Remove bitumen
- Remove lime scale
The TORC system creates a gentle swirling vortex using a mixture of low air pressure. Little water and a safe inert fine granulate.

Anti-stain Treatments
We can clean and reseal stone floors to prevent further staining. We use the finest materials consistent with your stone.
Colour Enhancing
We have the experience to enhance the colour of your existing stone and restore its lustre. We can create a matt finish or a glass finish, darkening of the stone or creation of an “antique” finish. Any colour can be intensified.
Damage Repair
We repair physical damage such as pitting caused by stiletto heels, chipped stone or disturbed/decaying graut. Our operatives are experts in all aspects of stone fixing.
Maintenance Advice
Maintenance of stone tiles is not difficult, nor does it have to be taxing. It is however, very often overlooked. The most common misconception is that, when the stone is fitter and sealed, no further care is required. We can advise you on what to do next. We can recommend the right products for day to day cleaning and longer-term maintenance.
Stain Removal
Even on a sealed floor fluid contaminants left on the floor for more than 30 minutes may produce discolouration. We can clean stone affected by any form of staining – however severe – red wine stains, line-based stains, oil and grease marks, cement films, residual graut stains, plaster stains efflorescence and general dirt.
